Serpent River Campground

Serpent River Campground offers large, convenient pull through sites nestled between Hwy 17 (the Trans Canada Highway) and the beautiful Serpent River. If you are camping, or prefer to stay in a cabin, we’ve got you covered. Our guests enjoy our many facilities such as clean washrooms, showers, inground pool and general store. As well as having access to some of the best fishing in Northern Ontario and the most beautiful hiking trails.

About Us

Serpent River Campground is nestled between Hwy 17 and the Serpent River, which empties into the North Shore of Lake Huron. We are located midway between Sudbury and Sault Ste Marie. The perfect location for a convenient easy in and out stop on your road trip east or west. We are also a great spot to stay for a few days while enjoying the pleasures the North Shore has to offer.

We have a weekly farmers market and various food venders throughout the week.

Amenities

For our campers convenience we have washrooms, showers, a general store, coin laundromat and an easily accessed dump station. For enjoyment, our campers have access to campfires, a playground, inground pool, rental kayaks, fishing, movie and book exchange.

Ways to Stay

Rental Units

Our rustic log cabins feature a double bed and single bunk beds and electricity. Enjoying the wooden swing on porch might be the best part of your stay. Three cabins are perfectly located on the river, with beautiful, peaceful views.
Another two cabins are located in the main campground, the perfect place to stay if you are visiting one of our seasonal campers.

RV Sites

Serpent River Campground offers large easily accessed pull through RV sites with 30 amp service and water hook up. Each site has a fire ring and picnic table.

Veryclean and well maintained park. We were greated very well and the young lady was very informative. This trip was not planned due to a passing in the family, but we will definitely come back if time allows on our return trip.

We spent one night in this beautiful campground. it was one of the best experiences we could have had with any campground. all the amenities were very clean and well-maintained. the service was spectacular. we enjoyed our stay by the river and had pizza and firewood delivered to our campsite. would definitely recommend.

Spent an evening recently in one of their rustic cabins. Rain was immanent and we didn’t want the hassle of putting up and taking down our camper in that weather. Really enjoyed the cabin and ordered a pizza from their store - it was delicious to say the least. Owners were most hospitable and friendly. Will stay here again next time through the area.
